My work tells the story of a fisherman who stumbled upon an ideal utopia in ancient China. The story of the peach blossom spring was written by the Chinese poet Tao yuanming. When I first read it, I found his description very beautiful. However, I believe that although static text can bring associations to people, it cannot provide the audience with enough realistic pictures. So, when I was at a1, I drew my imaginary peach blossom land by photoshop. But when I finished, I still thought the picture was not rich enough. Therefore, I imported these ps works into ae, hoping to make this work more delicate and coherent through animation.

It turns out that using animation can really make the picture rich and interesting. When I was doing animation, I had some problems. First, there are technical problems. As it was my first time to do animation, I didn’t know the usage of some effects very well, which made me spend a lot of time in the early production. But what’s better is that my tutor reminded me to make more layers in photoshop, so that I could make more figures or backgrounds move. The second problem I encountered in ae production was that some scenes and characters were very similar, and I didn’t want every scene to be the same, because it would make the work boring. So, I used different effects in similar scenes, hoping to make the picture more interesting.

There are several interesting scenes in it. For example, the last animation is a skull head. The meaning of this picture is to contrast the reality with the ideal environment. When I was doing ae, I used the peach blossom petals to fly down to guide the audience’s line of sight. Peach blossoms fly down from the sky, the first time slowed down, is to attract the audience’s attention to the background of the corpse above, the second fall is on a clear skull head. There are some things in the animation that I hope will make the audience think, but the last scene is my favorite.

After I made the animation, I exported these clips to pr for editing. As the plot of this story is relatively long, I once thought to cut some scenes or speed up each animation. However, after I showed some experiments to my tutor, he thought that too fast a picture would cause many details to be ignored. Cutting the plot will make the story incomplete. Therefore, the time for my final product is slightly longer than the requirement of outline, but I think this work is complete. When selecting music, I chose two pieces played by traditional Chinese Musical Instruments, “fisherman’s sings at dusk and ” Surrounded on all Sides “, which are the styles I expected. I cut music according to the change of scene and the rhythm of the story I hope to make the audience feel the emotional changes and more orthodox Chinese elements in the story.

Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
